LG LX370


The new LG LX370 is another handset from the manufacturer and is available via Sprint for $99.99 after a two-year contract. The handset looks like most other slider phones but it is quite compact in its dimensions. The handset is 4.06 inches high, 1.89 inches wide, 0.63 inch deep and weighs just 3.7 ounces. The LG LX370 has slim profile and designed with highly reflective silver front, while the back of the handset features tiny dotted bumps in the silver surface that allow the users to grip the handset.

As its reviews, the handset boasts of an excellent 2-inch display, which has native resolution of 240×320 pixels and supports 262k color hues. The display looks exceptionally good with the rich and vibrant colors. You have option to change the backlight time and the font size for browser, messages, and the notepad.

The navigation array features circular toggle with central OK/menu button, two soft keys, back key, Talk and End/Power keys. You cam access the alphanumeric keypad by sliding the front upwards. The keys are large and flat, and slightly raised above the surface for error free typing. The left spine houses the volume rocker along with the charger jack, while the right spine houses headset jack, dedicated camera key, microSD memory card slot, and a voice command key. The rear of the handset houses the camera lens along with external speaker.

The LX370 has nice blend of basic as well as advanced features. The basic features include a 600-entry phone book, vibrate mode, text messaging, multimedia messaging, alarm clock, world clock, voice messaging, calendar, a speakerphone, notepad, calculator, and a unit converter. The advanced features include instant messaging with support for Windows Live, AIM, Yahoo Messenger, voice memo recorder, voice

commands, memory card manager, stereo Bluetooth, wireless Web browser, and USB-syncing mode. The handset enables you to access all the popular e-mail accounts such as Gmail, Yahoo, AOL, Hotmail, and any POP/IMAP account. The LX370 supports EV-DO Rev. A, which allows you to access Sprint’s broadband services, which include Sprint TV, Sprint Radio, and Sprint Music.

The LX370’s 2.0-megapixel camera captures still in four resolutions and videos in two resolutions. Other camera features include white balance presets, quality settings, color tones, self timer, adjustable brightness, night mode, fun frames, and four shutter sounds with a silent option.

The LG LX370 has a rated battery life of 6 hours talk time.
